So I missed the explanation of why these recaps had a time limit of 3-4 minutes, why is that?

It's great watching Mark and Ryan get so excited about the Trials. It's hard for me to find people where I live who have even a passing interest in track. Flotrack coverage reminds me that there are others out there who share my passion. Never lose the excitement guys. That's what sets you apart and makes you so authentic.

I'm guessing that NBC is holding back footage of the mens 800, so that they can highlight it during this weekends coverage. I was on the working on the field during the race, and it was absolutely amazing. The noise from the Hayward crowd was deafening.

This highly enthusiastic, 4 minute format blows the doors off the much longer, calmer Recap video I saw on another track site. They had the commentator with the stentorian voice but it was borderline unwatchable.

oh, and why will nobody answer the question of the day? Is the 800 mens on line any place??? NBC is ridiculous if it isn't.

Is there video of the 800 final anywhere on the net? I don't see anything on NBC. Someone posted the prelims on athlink.com, but nothing on the final.

go ahead and slap your hands all you want. The coverage is great- nobody else is giving us any of this. why would we want our athletes to be exposed... I mean they are not swimming or jumping and swinging on the apparatus... so who cares. Not that I am bitter or anything.
