National 10000 m record holder Yoko Shibui defeats Yukiko Akaba and Kayoko Fukushi to qualify for the Beijing Olympics 10000 m in the Japanese National Track & Field Championships at Todoroki Stadium, Kawasaki, 6/27/08. Shibui`s time of 31:15.07, along with Akaba`s 2nd place 31:15.34 and Fukushi`s 31:18.79, broke the 12-year old meet record of 31:19.40.
