Boo Yah! Track is back baby! I love to see a good rivalry with Anna and Jenny knocking down the AR. Somebody wake up the regular sports press and tell em that this is what they should be covering instead of A-Rod's love life. Thanks Flotrack for covering real sports news.

What a duel between Barringer and Willard! And what a kick by Barringer! That was classic. I don't know why ESPN or someone like that isn't covering this, but thank you Flotrack for being there for the track fans.

Amazing the J.B. can outkick the sprint specialist.

NEVER underestimate Jenny B for Oviedo Florida! YES. What a race and what heart.
Rookie last 50 meters by Willard, unfortunate, but she'll figure it out.

It is a lady, man.

Is that a lady or man in the red coat that they show at the end of the 1st lap

Willard better not take that last 150 so easily in Beijing, though. She could have easily had that race, but I think she thought too much of her lead coming off the barrier. Great race, though.
Tony posted July 21 at 10:49am.
Something to watch with Willard - her ability to hurdle well with either lead leg. And her acceleration into the water jump and sustaining that out of the water. This is what makes her so successful as a steepler....oh and the ability to run FAST.

Go Jenny! What a great representative for CU! Both Jenny and Anna are really impressive. It's great to see top runners pushing each other to be better.
And thanks Flotrack for covering this.

Hey I liked it when you guys used to put the race results under the video. Thanks for all you do.
Whoa, poor Anna does the grunt work this time! Great effort all around!
Good Race posted July 21 at 8:39am.
love to see two americans duke it out like that. tho since willards the better water pit jumper, i have to say she's the better steepler right now. barringer has more potential to lower the ar in the future. willard will break it at the olympics.
Minori Hayakari, the 4th place finisher, broke her own Japanese NR by 5 seconds.

In my last post i'm saying Anna will set a new AR in Beijing under 20 easily. Not Barringer.

Anna would have easily set the AR under :20 if she would have ran all out the last 200. She eased up too much because she thought she had the win along with a new AR and didn't want to die at the tape. She is heads and shoulders above any ST runner. The only exception to that statement is that Jenny Barringer is in her rear view mirror. She will set a new AR in Beijing under 20 easily. But koudos to Barringer for not giving up.
