man, did anyone see the bet Alan and Lauren made with eachother? who ever gets most miles in Jan. if Webb wins lauren runs with a Webb rules shirt and he chooses a teammate of his for her to go out with on a date. and he said anyone who joins him on nike is his teammate. if Luaren wins Webb runs in her tiny nike top and bottom at a race. LMAO that would be funny. Luaren is so awesome.

It's so good to see Americans becoming the most competitive they've been in distance running for a long time, both men and women. And with a slew of youngsters, Jordan Hasay being just one of them, the future looks very bright indeed!

Good interview. Thank you flotrack...you have really given track fans a chance to see the sterling personalities of the track athletes. There really is more to them than jsut their splits. I believe your work will make a difference in bringing together a stronger fan base for the sport. Lauren Fleshman appears to be, no surprise, a real class athlete... It will be very easy to root for her.
