It represents the suffering, deprivation, exploitation and terrorization of millions of people over the last 300 years. It is also a symbol of the most unpatriotic movement in the history of this country, and prompted the bloodiest and most destructive war in American history. No one can claim this flag and claim to be patriotic and decent as well, it is a fundamental contradiction. It is also the reason that the southern states remain the most backward and underdeveloped states in the union. This flag is an embarrassment to our country, and that country is the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.
