Yeah, previous comments are correct. The "um"-factor used as punctuation is a bit annoying. Still, most people behave differently in front of a camera.

"ummm" total was 36, as best as I could keep track anyway. Regarding comment by frequent visitor, I didn't think there was a staff on Flotrack.

Kate O'Neill Interview

January 16, 2008
Kate O'Neill won the 2008 USATF half-marathon championship on Sunday in Houston (1:11:57). After graduating form Yale, she was a 2004 Olympian in the 10,000 meters. Injured hampered her running after the Athens Games, but she ran 2:36 in the heat last fall at the Chicago Marathon. O'Neill currently lives and trains in Mammoth Lakes, CA and is coached by Terrence Mahon.
